I am an assistant professor at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Faculty of Food Science.
On 2005 I graduated in Warsaw University of Life Sciences at Faculty of Food Science, Department of Food Engineering and Process Management. On 11/12/2009, I received a Ph.D. in agri-cultural sciences in the field of food technology and nutrition at this University. From 30 December 2009 I am an assistant professor in the Department of Food Engineering and Process Management.
During my Ph.D. studies I took part in 3-months Erasmus program in University of Bologna, Faculty of Food Technology, Campus Cesena, Italy and 2-weeks IP program “Food and Health” at University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
During my work I took part in several international programs connected with food technology and food science at University of Veterinary Medicine and Food Sciences ONIRIS, Nantes in France; University of Bologna, Faculty of Food Technology, Campus Cesena in Italy; University of J.J. Stross-mayer in Osijek, Department of Food Science, Croatia. Moreover, I had professional training in the Voivodship Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Warsaw at Laboratory Department of Food Hy-giene, Nutrition and Consumer and also course in materials and articles intended to come into contact with food in Lisbon, Portugal organized by Health & Consumers Directorate-General.
I am also finalist of Fellowships for researchers - Top 500 Innovators Science - Management – Commercialization at Stanford University in California for 2 months and during that time I took an 2 weeks internship in NASA Ames Research Center at project "New technologies for food longevity".
I am the author and co-author of severals original papers, popular science publications and books chapter. Moreover I am also a reviewer of articles in national and international journals.
